ZHANG

Jinhao Zhang was born in 1995 in Dalian, China and grew up in Shanghai. He studied at the Tongji University, Shanghai from 2010 to 2014. He became a student at the English National Ballet School after winning a scholarship at the Prix de Lausanne, and later joined the English National Ballet winning the Emerging Dancer Award in 2015. Zhang joined the Bayerisches Staatsballett in 2017 as a soloist and has since been promoted to principal.
